Celebrity news has just learned that MILEY CYRUS topped the Yahoo! searches of 2013.
Well, that’s not surprising.
What’s more surprising is that people still actually use Yahoo! for searching stuff online.
The “Wrecking Ball” singer may have placed #9 in Bing’s Most Searched Person list for 2013 (with Beyonce at the number 1 spot) and she may be GQ’s least influential celebrity of the year, but when it comes to Yahoo! search, Miley is the queen.
She was even higher than other female celebrities who usually get the most searches online, like Kim Kardashian (#2), Kate Upton (#3) and Selena Gomez (#5).
Non-celebrities, or rather, non-persons are also included in the list such as “Minecraft” (#4), “Obamacare (Affordable Care Act)” (#6), and “iPhone 5” (#9).
